a slate - In filming the term a slate means that the camera crew will start and end the scene using a clapperboard.
speed The term speed is known by the camera crew as a term that means the camera is running at the correct speed, functioning correctly, and performing and filming of the scene may begin.
cut- A cut refers to the technique of making a transition from one shot to another within the shot, without stopping the camera.
action- Action is the word called out loud to indicate to the actors and other performers that they can still film.
take- A take refers to a single continuous recorded performance of a specific shot or scene.
This technique will be a split screen. I used a crop tool to make a picture of myself. I cropped out Lola so it was just me. I had to make the two pictures work together I took out the section where Scarlett used the slate so it was just me talking to myself. I used a clip where I was looking at myself. Looking to the left I also took out the line in the middle of the 2 versions of myself. The issues I had to resolve were taking the line between each Ella. I asked the teacher how I should remove it and she showed me.
I improved this video by taking out the beginning and the end. I also cropped the video to make it look like there were 2 of me. Because it was a different person in the video before I cropped it.
