High key lighting, is designed to increase the mood and tone of the film, it is used a lot in action films. It is a 3 point lighting system it makes the colours really bright almost like technicolour which is like the Hollywood film used in the 1950s.

low key lighting produces shadows and gives a feeling of danger and fear to the audience. It highlights certain scenes, showing horror and danger.

natural lighting, is used to make the scene more believable, as it gives a realistic look to the film or scene colours are more natural often it's not lit by lights.

In my film trailer, we used low key and natural lighting. The low key lighting, was used to make the scene look scary and to give suspense. I also used natural lighting to make the scene look more realistic.

The low lighting is showing shadows which makes it look spooky and shows suspense.

The natural light is used in this shot as it was shot outside.

we added red light to add to the horror effect which makes the audience feel suspense and scared.

Shadows create drama and tension too my film.
