Before I started the press pack I had to be clear on the age rating to make sure my promotional material was in line with BBFC classification.
I also changed the rating on my press pack to fit in with the appropriate conventions they just use the number.

What are the codes and conventions of a press pack?
The codes and conventions of a press pack are the different things it should contain to help promote the movie or TV show some examples of this are trailers, posters, behind-the -scenes and a teaser trailer.
What were the influences for my poster?
The influences for my poster were posters from The Vampire Diaries and the Twilight Saga because I liked some of the elements on their posters and wanted to try and put them on my own poster.
What changes did I make to my poster?
Some of the changes I made to my poster was, I changed the positioning of my title to make it central, this made it stand out more. I also changed my tagline to "Nowhere is safe" to "No one is safe because it fitted in with my trailer more. I added the release date so my audience know when the trailer is coming out on Netflix.
What examples did I use to create my press pack?
I used the home after dark press pack as an example to help me create my own. Included in the Home After Dark press pack were a synopsis of the series at the start of the press pack. There is also a poster at the top of the press pack which shows the theme of the series. I have created a poster to promote my movie.Below is the synopsis which is a brief introduction of the series is about. I also have a synopsis which tells the audience about the story in a short extract.
There are also some episodes and images and a brief summary about each of the episodes so that the audience can click on and watch a episode.
There is also a cast and crew section which tells the audience the name of the actors and the directors and producers. I have also created a cast and crew section with pictures with each cast member and their name.
There is also a trailer and videos which the audience can watch to see if they want to watch the series. I have created a film trailer about The Forbidden Faith which gives the audience an opportunity to view a small section of the movie which allows them to decide if they want to watch the movie or not.
I have rated The Forbidden Faith a 15 and the Home After Dark press pack rates the series suitable for over 14's
I have used this example to help me create my own press pack about The Forbidden Faith movie.
How did I create my merchandise and why?
The image below is a screenshot of the website I used the way I did it was I went to the website and decided if I wanted to create a shirt a sweatshirt or a hoodie and I chose a hoodie after that I went to my poster which is in photoshop and saved the image I wanted to use on merchandise and uploaded the image on to my hoodie and decided what colour I wanted to choose for the hoodie and then I added the image of my merchandise to my press pack.
What did I change about the press pack to suit my film?
Some of the changes I made to my press pack to better suit the film was changing my text I changed my text from a normal font to the storybook font I used this font because I thought it looked interesting and unique. It also creates a sense of mystery and drama.

Final Press Pack https://new.express.adobe.com/webpage/2cP8KsbnxNROL
My press pack starts with this picture, I used this picture because it is a key scene from the trailer. It shows the main characters in costume. The girl in purple is an enigma and we don't know who they are, and if they are boys or girls. Stereotypically girls are nice, so this is an anti-stereotype.
In my press pack I originally just had the key scenes from my trailer, however I changed this to key scenes and added behind the scenes. I then decided to change the layout of my photos from individual photos to a photo grid. I did this because it's easier to look at the photos instead of having to scroll through them one by one, and it also makes it look neater. Behind the scenes pictures helps to create the process in which the audience can see the way the scene has been made.
Does it look like a real press pack?
My press pack looks like a real press pack because it follows the same layout as a real press pack for example we took photos in the studio and the theme continues throughout. You can see the characters in my poster and I used photos from key scenes and behind the scenes. The viewer will find it interesting to see behind the scenes as they get to see the characters and the crew.
In this picture the character Everleigh was dragged across the floor. Amiee was high up on the camera to create a CCTV shot.
