The things that went well on our shoot were the use of props and costumes that created a horror scene. We used cloaks and candles that created an atmosphere of mystery and intrigue. We used one purple cloak to distinguish the leader from the other followers who wore black cloaks.
I also thought we had good locations which was the outside of the building the wooded area the dance and drama studio.
The wooded area had a wall which I hid behind and ran out when Scarlett said "action". The location created a scene of suspense and provided a natural environment. With the location outdoors we had natural lighting.
My job role was to act during the film trailer I was a cult member.
Lola was also an actor she was the cult leader
April was a cult member and was in charge of the slate she ensured that the start and finish of a take took place smoothly
Scarlett was a cult member and was in charge of filming
Hanna was an actor
Aimee was a camera assistant
The were 3 things that needed improvement the first one was we needed more members of the team to film the trailer because we had to duplicate the crew to act in the trailer. The second thing that needed improvement was the lighting in the dance and drama studio because it was either too light or too dark. the colours we used were White and, Orange filters and a red filter we filmed using each of these and found that the best colour to use, was the red light because it gave the best effect for candles in the final film.
Some of the things I would do differently next time would be to ask everyone if they can be in as it is easier to film when everyone is available. Some of the girls in the class were absent on key filming days such as the dance studio therefore our camera operator had to be in the scene Also, we were restricted to filming on campus in class time so our teachers could help us and observe us working as a team if we were to film off campus in our own time we could have chose our own locations.
In the images above are the different coloured filters we used when filming you can see the difference that the camera perceives colour.
In this photo we are filming the CCTV shot which is shot 2 on my storyboard the tripod needs to be high because the camera operator needs to get a shot which looks like a CCTV camera it is in the position because we are going to add a filter effect in the edit suite which will make it look like a surveillance camera. These filters might be a record button a date/time stamp.

My working pre-production documents we used on our shoot.
