The image used for Case 39 shows a picture of a lady behind a door which is open slightly. There is a bolt and chain on the door. The lady is peering inside the front side of the door looking inside of the house. Her face looks scared, curious but she is taking her time to see what is going on inside. She is quietly approaching the door.
The outside of the door looks bright and could potentially be daylight but the other side of the door is dark and there could be danger. The bolt on the door suggests that if she steps inside she may become trapped by a person who is inside.
The font uses a glow effect so it looks like it is light up. This stands out amongst the background which is dark showing mystery and creating a sense of suspense for the audience.
The red graphic leaving soon draws the audience attention to the fact that it will be leaving the platform soon and it creates a sense of FOMO, a fear of missing out.
The picture used for Before I Wake shows a butterfly with a person's eyes and face in looking through it the eyes are quite piercing and looking directly at the audience which shows the person looking scared there is an atenna coming out the top of the nose which also indicates it is a butterfly image. The butterfly image is not fully formed and looks patchy and broken. The lighting is dark and he face is showing a mixture of white skin and the texture of brown butterfly wings.
The font is Serif which has texture that is mirrored similar to the background. The genre is horror, it is chilling and has lots of suspense making the audience want to know more.
